Money Cowrie are one of the best Cowries for the reef aquarium. They are active grazers feeding on filamentous algae, diatoms and small macro algaes.
They are found on the shallow reef flats of the Indo-Pacific where they are very abundant. The Money Cowrie are small in size with white shell with light tan/ greenish white centre surrounded by a gold ring.
