Coral frag plugs are made from an inert material that is safe to use straight from the packet, unlike certain type frags bases that must be cured before use.

TMC has developed two different types of plug shape, the 'standard' shape are pegs that easily slot into holes in the rock, between spaces on egg crate, into substrate and their own frag rocks.

The frag rocks are a natural rock effect racking system intended for when the corals have grown and are ready for placing out in the aquarium. This frag rock holds 4 standard frag plugs in a secure manner to prevent newly made frags from becoming damaged or knocked over.
