African Angel Fish
You will earn 375 Points
Juvenile African Angel Fish are a beautiful blue color with a yellow tail. When reaching maturity the juveniles will start to change color. The edge of the fish will turn orange and the blue color will start to disappear turning yellow to olive green.
The African Angel fish can grow up to 45cm in length, so it requires a large aquarium. It is a hardy fish, but can become aggressive, so it should be kept with other semi-aggressive tank mates. They will graze on live rock algae growth and may nip at stony and soft corals and clam mantles, so it is not a good candidate for a reef aquarium.
African Angel Fish should be fed foods that include vegetable matter such as Spirulina, marine algae, meaty items, and high-quality angelfish preparations which include sponges.
