The Candy Basslet, is an eye-catching addition to the home saltwater aquarium. Displaying an elongated body of orange and lavender horizontal stripes and accented with red lines. Similar to the Swissguard and the Swales Basslet; but easily identified by their intense colouration. 

An excellent peaceful reef-dwelling fish, however the Candy Basslet may pose a threat to smaller, ornamental crustaceans that can fit into their mouth. 

As a carnivore, the Candy Basslet will thrive on a diet of meaty foods including marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysis shrimp, and quality frozen preparations.

Can be confused with the Swissguard and the Swales Basslet; but easily identified by their intense colouration.
