The Cloudy Damsel is perfect for beginners because they are easy to keep and acclimate well to the home aquarium. Subdued colours let bluish iridescent dots on each scale and hints of yellow along the body reveal themselves to the careful eye.
In its natural habitat, the Cloudy Damsel is associated with branching corals on in- and offshore reefs, congregating in small schools to feed on plankton. At home, an aquarium with plenty of hiding places s required. Due to its aggressive behavior as an adult, it will do well with other aggressive fish in a community tank. It will not harm invertebrates or disturb the tank setting.
They will need a diet of meaty items, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
