Pink Tail Trigger also known as the Pinktail Trigger are found from East Africa south to Durban, South Africa and east to the Hawaiian, Marquesan and Tuamoto islands, north to southern Japan, south to the southern Great Barrier Reef in Australia and New Caledonia.

The Pink Tail Trigger has a handsome emerald green body and a bright pink tail. Yellow accents the body at the face and pectoral fins with darker flecks on the scales.

An aquarium with rocks and caves provides a good habitat for the Pink Tail Triggerfish, however, it will tend to rearrange the landscaping and rocks.

The Pink Tail Trigger needs a varied diet of meaty foods including; squid, krill, clams, small fish and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth.
