Randall's Assessor
You will earn 175 Points
The Randall’s Assessor displays an overall beautiful blue colouration with red accents in its fins as it matures. A dusky purple hue may also be exhibited and compliment this attractive basslet. This is an excellent choice for reef aquariums.
Due to its aggression and being territorial, it is best to keep only one Assessor.
Assessors are known to be shy, cryptic and reclusive when first introduced into the aquarium. In time, a newly introduced Assessor will be seen and enjoyed more frequently with proper aquascaping that offers ample rock to provide nooks and crannies for the fish to dwell in. Similar to other basslet types, the Randall’s Assessor has a penchant for swimming inverted or upside down.
As a carnivore, the Randall's Assessor will thrive on a diet of meaty foods such as finely chopped fresh or frozen marine fish, squid, mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and frozen carnivore preparations. Feed at least twice a day.
