The Rectangle Trigger has a pearly white face and two blue and black stripes across the eyes. It is also recognized by the black V pattern outlined in yellow that highlights the posterior section of the body.

They can vocalizes using a "grunting" sound. 

An aquarium with rocks and caves provides a good habitat for the Rectangle Triggerfish, however, it will tend to rearrange the landscaping and rocks.

The Rectangle Triggerfish needs a varied diet of meaty foods including; squid, krill, clams, small fish and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth.
