Red Sea Bannerfish

The Red Sea Bannerfish have a very elongated white dorsal filament with a base colour of white with two wide black stripes. The soft dorsal and caudal fins are yellow, and there are black marks above the eyes. The Red Sea Bannerfish may reside in an aquarium with other peaceful fish and others of the same species, if all were introduced into the tank at the same time. When swimming, the elongated white dorsal filament moves like a banner in the wind. Heniochus are largely plankton eaters in the wild. A diet of frozen, freeze-dried, fresh or flake food is readily accepted. Also provide regular algae food source and vitamin-boosting supplements.
