Rocket Tail Damsel also known as the Yellowtail Demoiselle are found from East Africa to the Indo-Malayan Archipelago and Vanuatu, north to Taiwan, south to northern Australia, New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.

The Rocket Tail Damsel is a hardy and relatively nonaggressive damsel species.

They are best kept in groups of around five and should be added to the aquarium at the same time. The Rocket Tail Damsel will not harm any invertebrates or corals, they are also known to graze on algae growth. Provide plenty of live rock hiding places.

Their diet should consist of a variety of meaty items, frozen preparations, and some vegetable matter.
