The Tiger Sleeper Goby has a white body with brown bands, and an eyespot on the first dorsal fin. It should be housed in an aquarium with sand or fine gravel as the substrate. They will rarely become aggressive towards other fish, but it is territorial, and will fight with its own kind unless they are a male-female pair.
Usually the Tiger Sleeper Goby will feed from the bottom sifting through the sand. The diet should consist of a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and prepared foods for carnivores. It should be fed frequently.
