White Lined Blenny

The White Lined Blenny is a small, underappreciated blenny. They may look a little dull coloured in a store sometimes, but once they acclimate to your tank they show their true purple beauty. Over this purple body run white to blue scribbled and spotted horizontal lines. Their caudal fin base has a few vertical yellow bands and they've a cute face with beautifull eyes.
These fish are usually found in pairs perching on large sponges in coral-rich outer reefs, but corals are also picked as a resting spot. In a very large aquarium multiple blennies is possible as long as enough territories can be formed, but in a small tank they can best be kept alone or as a proven pair. They feed mainly on zooplankton and can best be fed with live and frozen food like copepods, artemia and small gammarus, but usually will learn to feed on high quality flakes and pellets as well!
