The Wolf Eel is often referred to as a Blenny, they are however a member of the Dottybacks. Its body is a brownish colour with highlights of green.
It requires an aquarium with plenty of hiding places. The aquarium should have a tight-fitting lid to prevent escape. The Wolf Eel may be kept in a reef aquarium, but will eat smaller fish and crustaceans.
Its diet should include meaty foods such as small marine fish, chopped clam, and prawns in its diet.
