The Yellow Tail Jewel Damsel is black with sparkling blue dots as a Juvenile. As the fish matures, it may turn brown to yellow and have smaller, indistinct spots.
They are overly aggressive, and therefore, only one should be kept per tank. A larger aquarium is required for this species.
The Yellow Tail Jewel Damsel feeds on a variety of meaty items, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
