The problems normally associated with conventional overflow combs are higher water running levels within the tank, which in extreme cases can even touch any glass bracing bars, plus subsequent large drain down volumes flowing into the sump at times of pump failure or unexpected power outages.

The Ultraflow Overflow Weir Comb maintains a high flow through the comb at all times, allowing the hobbyist to use larger return pumps with a higher flow rate.

The two-part comb is designed to clip straight on to 6, 8 and 10mm glass or the weir holder can be bonded directly onto the face of thicker glass or acrylic boxes.
